Where: UNT Eagle Student Services Center, Room 255
What: A panel discussion of conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo with an emphasis on gender-based violence.
Who: Speakers include UNT professors Grace Bascope (Anthropology) and Idean Sahleyan (Political Science) as well as Gorethy Nabushosi and Marco Nkashama, both representatives of D/FW-based Congolese advocacy groups. The event is open to the public, and is co-sponsored by the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance, a student organization.
